Album Review by: DJ Fox
I only found out about tuv through a YouTuber reacting to some of the YouTube videos he made. I eventually came across his music through Spotify recommending me it since I was listening to a lot of similar music at the time. It introduced one of the songs from album, "cherry soda", to me through the Discovery Weekly playlist.
Â
"cherry soda", and by proxy the rest of the album, have an electronic indie feel, using electronic sounds to produce music mixed in with traditional instruments like acoustic guitar, to give the songs an upbeat yet calm feel. While the song was one of Tuv's first songs he made, making the vocals less than desirable for the most part, his voice was still fitting and was on pitch for the most part.Â
Â
The whole album is this mixture of lofi-esq electronic music with bits of rap or indie pop, and his voice, while not perfect, really fits the style of music he's going for. If you're into this kind of music, such as other artists like Brakence, I'd highly recommend taking a listen to this album, and maybe tuv as a whole.Â
